We recently moved to the area; my son has a lot of hair I took him to Supercuts? (I think?) a couple times, and it just grew back in so quickly and horribly. The gem of a woman who took care of the mop on my son's head was amazing! The before and after is one thing, but look at that pile on the floor! Bravo New favorite *I'm so sorry I don't remember your name, but we will be back and update!* Also, the cost difference was only like 10 more here than Supercuts. SO worth it!!!!
I have been going to Jude’s for as long as I can remember. I tried a few different stylists out, and had good experiences with all of them, but my favorite experiences have been with Ryon. I’m wheelchair-bound and she has been very accommodating to me from the start. She always asks if I need help transferring to the barber chairs, or if I would prefer to stay in my wheelchair. She’s boosted my confidence on several occasions with her kind words and amazing work on my haircuts. She takes suggestions very well and when she asks how I would like my hair and beard cut, she always hits the mark. I have never once had a single bad experience with her since I started seeing her!
I've been coming to this location for the last couple years and would certainly recommend it. While I'm sure all the barbers would do a great job, I always make a point to schedule with Emily. She does a SUPERB job, is very friendly and easy to talk to, and is reliably there on a regular basis. Every haircut I've gotten is consistently of the best I've ever had. If you're a new customer I'd highly recommend her, but like I said I'm sure you'll have a great experience with anyone here. Just be sure to check in online in advance. Their site is a little different now, but still easy enough to use, just make sure you go to the website for this location. The shop is much like every Jude's I've been to over the years: clean, well decorated, always has parking available, friendly staff, dependable online check-in, and a variety of hair care products available. It's proximity to the 131 exit makes it very easy to get to. While you can certainly find cheaper haircuts around town, you will NOT find a better haircut for less. They're also open later than most barbershops making it easier to get in on a busy schedule. Scheduling online becomes second nature and that way you're never waiting very long like you can be as a walk in other places. If you've never done the Jude's Haircut (haircut, straight razor clean-up, hair wash, and shoulder massage), you should give it a try. The hair wash is always refreshing and helps stop all the little hair trimmings that would otherwise fall off your head later and end up on your shirt afterwards.
After bouncing around from hair stylist to hair stylist here in GR I walked into Jude's on West River almost 5 years ago not knowing any of the stylist. Emily had an opening and gave me an amazing haircut. I have been going to her ever since! Not only does she give an amazing cut, but is extremely personable and even remembers my kids names and ages. Before coming to Jude's I was lucky if a stylist remembered my name. Emily has since been promoted to store manager and runs an excellent location. I have had my hair cut by multiple stylist at West River over the years and never had a bad experience. I would highly recommend this location to anyone looking for a great cut and an even better experience.
Can not say enough good things about our experience. Walked in and was able to immediately get service from Lisa who really saved the day! Went from botched cut to feeling good in less than an hour!
Highly recommend Erica for haircuts and beard trims/fades. Will deff be going back.
I can’t thank the Crew enough at Jude’s on West River Dr. Violet cut my hair today after a bad experience at another barbershop earlier in the day, it feels and looks amazing! She took what I said I wanted and did exactly that! Thank you to Emily as well for such a fast response to what seemed like the worst barber experience to the best. I will continue to trust Emily, Violet, and the rest of the crew at Jude’s. It was relaxing knowing I could trust the staff and the environment was comfortable and clean. Thank you again Jude’s crew!
First time visiting Jude’s. I was able to book a same-day appointment with Erica. I honestly don’t know what I usually get with regard to a haircut except a 2 on the sides. Even with only that little bit of info, Erica got my cut right on the first try. Thanks!
